Our Shipping Policy
We are proud
to offer our customers convenient nationwide delivery on most of our
furniture. You will find under "Options" the cost of the Shipping for each product. If you want Nationwide Delivery service in a product that doesn't shows the option, please contact us for a quotation. Unlike other On-Line Retailers who build in the shipping cost into the
product price, FurnitureVision.com doesn't have to disguise our shipping costs. Our prices are lower even with a freight charge. We encourage
you to check and compare.
Our Standard 48 States shipping service includes online tracking, appointment scheduling, and
residential service.
Shipping Time Frames
Production Time: your order will leave our warehouse in about 7 to 10 business days
unless the item is out of stock ( we will notify you in that case ), or if it's a Special Order.
Shipping Time: Depending what State are you located, could take between 2 to 5
weeks to reach your Home. Experience says that the average time for the whole process is 4 weeks. Under no circumstances we are liable if the product is delayed due to
transportation problems, or other problems not directly caused by us.
Online Tracking: You will have access online to a Shipping Tracking System. You will
know time frames for each step of your order.
Delivery Procedures: You will be contacted by the Shipping Company a minimum of 24
hours prior the delivery and given 4 hour-window time for delivery. If no one is available for the schedule delivery, you will be charged re-delivery fee. Drivers can't deliver Furniture unless someone 18 years or older is at home at the time of delivery.
Customer is responsible for measuring doorways, stairways, elevator, etc to be sure merchandise will fit. If merchandise does not fit during delivery and you refuse it, you
will be charged 15% restocking fee plus delivery charges ( both ways ).
Delivery Options
This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via either standard truck freight or White Glove Gold Delivery service.
These types of delivery are different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that the product will arrive by a freight carrier (companies like Roadway, Yellow, etc.). The most important thing to remember when accepting delivery is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
About your choices:
Truck Freight: If you select the Truck Freight delivery option, the truck freight company will deliver the product to the threshold if this is a residential delivery (this means to your garage or front door), or to the loading dock if this is a commercial delivery. They will not offer any assembly services nor will they put it in the room of your choice. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to arrange for any additional services that you would like. You will be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for these additional services.
White Glove Gold ( Additional ): White Glove Gold delivery service provides a two-man delivery team to place your purchase inside your residence in the room of your choice. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging ( not including old furniture ).
*In all cases the shipper will not hookup any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.
